VS.
Processor:
Sony Xperia S has a 1.5GHz ARM dual core Cortex-A9 processor on Qualcomm’sMSM8260 S3 Snapdragon chipset. The performance is quite speedy and the phone shoes no problem anywhere.
Whereas, HTC has a 1.5GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core chipset with four ARM Cortex-A9 cores. The processor is very speedy and gives a very good overall performance.
Though both the phone appear quite fast and good I performance when used normally, the HTC one X is surely better when compared in terms of graphic intensive tasks.
Operating System:
Sony Xperia S has Android 2.3 Gingerbread and there are also talks that Xperia S will also get an Update to Android 4.0 Ice-Cream Sandwich.
On the other hand HTC One X takes the lead when it comes to operating system as the phone already has Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the best Android operating system as of now, maybe till Android 5.0 Jelly Bean is not released.
Camera:
HTC One X has an 8 mp primary and 1.3 mp secondary cameras. The performance and picture quality of the camera is quite good and can even record HD videos. It also has a feature of rapid capture of 20 images and tells you the best out of all the 20 snaps.
When we talk about the camera Sony Xperia S takes the lead here with its 12 mp primary and 1.3 mp secondary cameras. Though the performances of both the phones in terms of camera is comparable, still the 12 mp camera in Xperia S surely makes it the winner in terms of clarity.
Display:
The Xperia S has a 4.3-inch LED-backlit LCD capacitive touchscreen. One X has larger display of 4.7-inch and has Super IPS LCD2 capacitive multi-touch display. When we talk of the comparison between both the phones in terms of display, HTC One X has an advantage of having a larger display, but still Sony Xperia S will take the lead because of its pixel density of 342 pixels-per-inch (ppi) over 312 ppi of One X. This density not only beats the Apple iPhone but is also better then almost every smart phone rival in the market.
