Both devices are equipped with 512MB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and their respective sound Enhancer(The One V comes with Beats Audio while the Xperia U comes with Sony’s xLoud).The SOny Xperia U comes with its Timespace User Interface,while The HTC One V Comes With HTC Sense 4.0.Thus Both Smartphones Runs on Android OS System ,Xperia U has Android v2.3 Gingerbread Which will be soon upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich,But HTC One V Comes With Ice Cream Sandwich.
On the Other Hand, The Major DIffrence between these two Smartphones is Their Processor,Both Devices is Powered by 1 Ghz Processor but Xperia U is Comparitively Faster than One V as its contain 1 Ghz Single Core Processor while Sony has 1 Ghz Dual Core Processor.On the surface, the One V has a bigger display (3.7 vs 3.5-inch) than the Xperia U. Despite its limited onboard storage, the One V accepts microSD cards up to 32GB and also offers free 25GB cloud storage from Dropbox for two years but Sony Xperia U Doesn’t Have Micro SD Slot,It has 8GB Internal Memory in which 4 GB is For User Only(For Music,pictures,Videos,Movies etc). and 2GB Internal Storage & Remaining 2 GB for Application but it Supports OTG(OnTheGo), i.e, u can add externl device mediums like Pendrive, Hard Disk, etc.
