The Samsung Galaxy S4 is the smartphone ever with heat most anticipated Korean trademark, and with a glut of top end features, it is the most powerful and desirable device Samsung has created yet. The most amazing thing about the phone is that the size has not changed from its predecessor – the Galaxy S4 between 136.6 x 69.8 x 4.9 mm (5.38 x 2.75 x 0.31 advances little by little), meaning that there is no additional uplift to try to work with in your palm.

We do not pretend that Samsung is a pioneer in this sector however: as a great many characteristics of the Galaxy S4, phone borrowing many other top smartphones of the moment.

Sony Xperia Z and HTC One have screens that switch the same resolution, but neither one nor the other of them has mind-boggling rag of the Super AMOLED HD screen for sale here. On this, there is a processing unit much faster packed under the hood, memory space sufficient for grace of media to an expandable memory card, slot and tastes 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and pretty much any other connection that you worry for mention on board.

Samsung tried to supplement this with a slice of the software updates also, meaning a more power in camera, a better way to communicate, and interesting a large boost in health by apps.

The S4 of Samsung Galaxy does costs the same as the HTC one. This will put the still around £35 per month, which is not too bad for a high design.

Coming to design, it has it form factor amazingly tied up, thanks to the thickness of sub – 8 mm, 130 g it manages to always be light so that you feel like you have a fragile piece of plastic. This is probably the greatest compliment that S4 of Samsung Galaxy has – where its predecessor felt a bit cheap in the hand, the S4 manages to bring a much more solid construction and better construction to reject.

So while the band “false metal” made a return on this model, it looks much more premium. And there are very few cable in the chassis when you hold it tightly, which was another problem with the S3 Galaxy sometimes. This does not mean that the phone is completely transformed the S3 – it is very similar in appearance, so much so that a number of people asking to see during our review have thought we are palming our old S3.

Remnants of poly-carbonate chassis, but that brings with him faithful battery cover, hiding a removable battery and microSD slot. We are not so bothered about the battery may drop off the phone – so few people carry around a battery available, and nowadays portable filling blocks become so cheap and light they do lot more sense also.

We would almost prefer something like Sony Xperia Z, which has a frame refined and packaged but have no need for a removable battery it uses a slot for the memory card instead. This integrated nature would lead to a feeling slightly more of the highest quality on the phone.

However, it is a small gripe with the S4, as while the cover feels flimsy, it is better that it was on the S2 and S3, and they both are sold like hot cakes.

Dissemination of the screen towards the sides of the phone means a much closer than guidelines, and the effect is certainly impressive. It might look very similar to the S3, but when you take the end of the S4 from Samsung Galaxy, you really start to appreciate the nuances.

Samsung has clearly taken a few lessons of note 2 of Galaxy, which has a really good set power/lock button. The volume key is less easy to hit, and could be reduced less in our eyes, but the journey on each of the two buttons is satisfactory, and you’ll always know when you hit them. The plastic used on the touch screen debut has been improved also, with a more solid under sensation.

Verdict

The S4 of Samsung Galaxy is undoubtedly the smartphone Android most powerful available on the market in terms of hardware. She has a great camera if you expect low-light shots, and he runs the latest version of Android. All this with Super-AMOLED screen gorgeous HD makes the S4 Galaxy a great package. It is also in front of the competition if you consider the synthetic benchmarks.

Having said that, we are not really impressed gestures to detector of movement and air base which are one of the USPs of the phone and found them to be a trick to draw potential customers and to give them another reason to select over other options. We are sure that you only use them when you are in a crunch situation and just get the work done.

In fact, you’ll be more comfortable disabling them. At a price of Rs. 41,500, Samsung rated the well phone, now in consideration the assessment of some of the flagships recently launched including the HTC one, its direct competitor, which, unfortunately, is still not available on the market at the time of writing this, despite the company the announcement weeks before the S4 Galaxy. We prefer one above the S4 Galaxy when it comes to design, build quality and materials used in the construction of the phone. But without any sales boost and presence at retail, it looks like that is already in delay with respect to the tightness of the market.

Cellular network – Dual SIM GSM and 3G

The Galaxy Grand is the first phablet(phone + table) from a tier 1 brand to offer dual-SIM capability in the price range of 20,000. Quad-band 2G is supported by both the SIM card slots, whereas 3G connectivity is supported only in the SIM1 slot – the primary one.

Display Screen

Samsung Grand undoubtedly have a great deal with its large capacitive touch screen which gives a HD display quality, but unfortunately it sports a 5-inch WVGA display that is having a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The pixel density of Galaxy Grand’s display is 187 ppi as told in the specification review above, there’s ample real estate for viewing web pages and documents comfortably and videos are enjoyable on the large 5-inch display.

Slim Design

Samsung Grand weighing 162 grams is 20 grams lighter than Note II. It’s also a few millimetres less in height and width, but the Note II is slimmer than the Grand by a fraction of a millimetre. I personally like this smartphone in design and build quality very much.

Storage – 8GB with the option to expand by up to 64GB

Galaxy Grand packs 8GB of built-in storage, which is sufficient for a average person. Moreover it is expandable upto 64 GB that is very impressive with a microSD card. All the information is given above in the specification table. Do check that for a full review for the Samsung Galaxy Grand.

Primary camera – 8MP with LED flash

Grand have 8 megapixel primary camera with LED flash and digital image stabilization feature to help you take clear shots in low lightning. Videos can be recorded at 1080 pixels at 30 frame per second. Also, the secondary front camera in the Galaxy Grand is a 2 megapixel which is again very good for video chatting.

Battery – Li-ion 2100mAh

The Galaxy Grand feature a 2100 Li-ion mAh battery that helps to provide decent amount of talk time in tasks such as media playback, web browsing, gaming and so on. The battery capacity is very less than Samsung’s Note II which has 3100 mAh battery and that lasted for over two days without the need for a charge.

The bottom line

Samsung Galaxy Grand is a good phablet which is a look-alike of Samsung Galaxy S3 and in a reasonable price of 20500 INR. If you’re reluctant to consider a lower-tier brand and don’t want to look beyond top-tier brands, the Galaxy Grand is for you. The specifications look good on paper, and the price point is sweet!

Android mobile phone Samsung Grand specification also includes that the phone is a Duos, that means it is a dual SIM phone, it has 8 megapixel camera with quick start-up and zero shutter lag.

According to me, Samsung Galaxy Grand android is giving a competition to its Galaxy S3 in its specification that both have same looks but the price is a major issue, that S3 is 15000 more expensive than Galaxy Grand as shown in the review.

The other mobiles in IFA were Xperia J,Xperia T.

Expected Specs:

The phone has 4.3 inch display screen, Snapdragon S4 1.5 GHz Dual-core processor, 13 Mega Pixel camera, HD display with 342 ppi pixel density, front facing camera. This is we call the Xperia V mini specs.

The best part for the device is that it is pre-installed with the Sony Xperia ICS, Ice Cream Sandwich android operating system, and as the mobile has been delayed for its release, so there should be a Jelly Bean at its launch in 2013.

Yet another feature that Sony has introduce in this mobile handset is the water and dust resistant body thanks to its IP57 certification and the Xperia V release date was supposed to be in December 2012 but now it has been expected to be released in January 2013 and Xperia V is priced at €529 in Europe and expected price in India is 25000 INR.
