Many big smartphone manufacturers like HTC, Samsung, LG, are going to launch their new devices equipped with Exynos 4 quad-core processor and Apple want to be one of the manufacturers to stand in front of the competitors in technology.
There was a rumour that the new iPhone will be having quad-core A6 processor produced by Samsung, but this will be modified then and there to have quad-core Exynos 4 Processor for its iPhone.
The expected time for the release of the devices having the new processor would be in second half of the year, just before the shopping season begins, then there will be more demand for the smartphones.
Qualcomm will add fuel to a quad-core fire of their own with their upcoming APQ8064A chipset, which will further integrate an LTE radio and the Adreno 320 GPU all into a 28nm process. Expect these impressive Snapdragons to also hit the shelves around fourth quarter of this year.
