Galaxy Nexus had been banned in USA and was taken Off Google Play stores after the Apple’s request for pretrial injunction against US sales of Google’s Samsung made Android based smartphone was granted by a judge in Lower court on June 29. The case on the Patent has caused Samsung quite a loss in the US markets.
Samsung appealed against the Ban and the appeals court has temporarily lifted the Ban on Galaxy Nexus allowing the smartphone to again come up on Google Play Store for sale. An order is still to come whether the ban will be lifted permanently. Apple in turn have chance to convince the court in order to reinstate the injunction until the legal proceedings roll on. Apple has time till Thursday to submit their arguments. The court’s time for reaction is still unknown after Apple’s submissions.
Google had lifted the phone from Google Play stores saying that the phone will soon be back with the latest version of Android operating System, Jellybean. The phone is now back on the store and the it says that the smartphone won’t ship until 2 or 3 weeks, guess it will have Jellybean installed till then.
