Nokia has announced yesterday that it has completed the acquisition of technologies, developers and intellectual property (IP) from Scalado. Nokia is bringing up new technologies for their smartphones that should stand up in terms of their cameras, as providing advancements and boosting camera capabilities.
According to Samuli Hanninen, Vice President, Nokia: “We think that imaging is about to go through another major revolution.”
Nokia phones has always been the leader in camera technology in its smartphones, it has made success to its many mobile devices like - Nokia 7650 in 2002, which was the first autofocus 12-megapixel camera phone then the Nokia N8, which is the huge step forward that came with PureView technology, its unique lossless zoom.
With the so named technology Nokia is going to embed into its smartphones, the power of the huge sensors combined with impressive softwares like Scalado Remove and Scalado Rewind and Smart Group Shot will head up Nokia to be the acquiring amazing camera technology in comparison with other mobile devices manufacturing companies.
