Samsung has announced its new Android 4.0 QWERTY smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Chat today. The smartphone runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and has a dedicated button for company’s ChatON messenger. It will be Samsung’s first phone to feature Android 4.0 and a physical QWERTY keyboard. The phone’s confirmed specs include a 3-inch QVGA touchscreen display, 2MP camera,Wi-Fi, physical QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth 3.0, microSD card slot, 1200mAh battery and a dedicated key to launch Samsung’s ChatON messenger.
There is no word on the pricing right but Samsung promises that it will be competitive. Galaxy Chat is set to go on sale starting this month in Spain followed by Europe, Latin America, Middle East, China, Southeast Asia, and Southwest Asia.
