Camera :
The back camera gets an upgrade, to 5 megapixels with lens technology taken from the iPhone 4S. It records 1080p video and that looks very nice too. Video stabilisation is noticeably helpful for our shaky hands, or if you are moving and recording. But while the iSighter got all fixed up, the front-facing “Facetime” camera remains VGA.
Processor :
The iPad’s processor has been upgraded to what Apple is calling an A5X. The third-generation iPad has a dual-core processor with quad-core graphics . The “X” is there to signify that the graphics processor has been beefed up to quad-core. While HD video and menu swiping don’t appear any smoother than before , they were already plenty smooth , gaming, as you’d anticipate, really benefits.
Pros :
- Breathtaking display
- Fast processor
- Slick gaming
- Best app and AV stores
Cons :
- No camera settings
- Apps take up too much space
- No expandable storage
- Thicker than iPad 2
