The Intex iTab is the first tablet from Intex technologies . It is a 8-inch capacitive display tablet running the Android Gingerbread and powered by a powerful 1GHz processor . The front of these gadgets comes with a matte steel finish. It supports wireless LAN connectivity and does not have in-built 3G . But you can still get 3G connectivity on it using the Intex 3G data card that comes free with this tablet . It has a full size USB port and integrated GPS module for navigation.The tablet also comes with a 5000 mAh Li-Ion battery, 3.5mm audio jack, as well as several pre-loaded apps and services, including Angry Birds and Office Suite.

Design and Build Quality :
The Intex i-Tab measures about 8″ (l) x 6.3″ (w) x 0.5″ (13 mm) (d), and has a weight of around 475 grams. Its comes in a complete black outfit, the front has a matte steel finish with a silver lining between the bezel. The 8-inch screen size makes it stand compares to other 7-inch low budget tablets currently in the market. i-Tab’s touchscreen is available with 800 x 600 pixel dimensions.
Features and Performance :
The Intex iTab is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor with 512 MB RAM and 8 GB internal memory. Intex iTab is equipped with Google Android 2.3 (Honeycomb UI elements), 3.5mm headphone jack and microSD card support up to 32GB.It is armed with VGA frontfacing camera, Stereo speakers and Wi-Fi as well. It’s quick, smooth and extremely user friendly.
Multimedia :
The iTab played 1080p content seamlessly out of the box. WMV, AVI, MOV formats are supported as well. Though FLV and MKV weren’t playing out of the box, 720p MKV videos played smoothly on third party media applications.
Connectivity :
The intex provides few connectivity options with the iTab. The all-important USB slot allows you to connect keyboards, flash drives and portable hard drives as well. The company also provides a 3G USB stick (with SIM slot) and access the Internet on-the-go. Wi-Fi is there, but Bluetooth, is not included.
Disadvantages:

The Intex iTab is priced at an MRP of
11,900. At this price, it’s a very good tablet with great multimedia capabilities and you also get a 3G data card (with SIM slot) , leather cover and a pair of Reebok sunglasses.
