Android 4.0 ICS update Now Available for HTC Evo 3D in India

Recently,HTC had Starting Rollout  Android 4.0 update For its Sensation XL Smartphone in India & yesterday,We Reported That the HTC Evo 3D Owners in Europe,the Middle East and Africa gets Latest Android 4.0 Update,The Manufacturer has also announced that Users from India will also be able to upgrade their HTC Evo 3D Smartphone Soon.

Now Today,HTC has announced on their Facebook India Page that the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is Now Available For Their  HTC Evo 3D Smartphone.The update will Rollout to Devices Through OTA (Over The Air),User Can Upgrade Their Smartphone Through these Methods Such As Software update through Wi-Fi or HTC PC Suite.You can manually check if it is available for your device from the Settings » About » Software Updates menu

The firmware update of 300 MB size comprises of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich code which also includes Sense 3.6, customizable launcher in the home-screen,  new lock screen functions,  music controls in the notification bar, It allows you to Dismissed Recently-used apps with just a swipe, avoiding multiple apps running unnecessarily in the background. A more responsive browser lets you toggle instantly between desktop- and mobile-optimized web sites.

HTC makes an entry to the budding market of smartphones that come with 3D capability with its EVO 3D. The HTC EVO 3D runs on the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system and boasts of features that will catch your attention. Under the hood, the EVO 3D makes room for a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, an Adreno 220 GPU based on a MSM 8660 chipset and 1 GB of RAM.
