Last Month,HTC had Released the Android 4.0 Update List For their Various HTC Smartphones,In their Last Blog Post They had mention That devices with 512MB RAM or less will not be upgraded to Android 4.0 & only These Smartphones would Receive The Android update,Such as HTC EVO 4G+, HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation 4G, HTC Sensation XE, HTC Sensation XL, HTC Vivid,HTC Amaze 4G,HTC Velocity 4G,HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO Design 4G, HTC Incredible S, HTC Rezound, HTC Rhyme,HTC Desire S,HTC Desire HD and HTC Thunderbolt.
Now Today ,HTC has announced on their Facebook India Page that the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is Now Available For Their HTC Sensation XL Smartphone.The update will Rollout to Devices Through OTA (Over The Air),User Can Upgrade Their Smartphone Through these Methods Such As Software update through Wi-Fi or HTC PC Suite.
This New update would bring new features including HTC Sense 3.6, customizable launcher in the home-screen, new lock screen functions, music controls in the notification bar, It allows you to Dismissed Recently-used apps with just a swipe, avoiding multiple apps running unnecessarily in the background. A more responsive browser lets you toggle instantly between desktop- and mobile-optimized web sites.
In Their Facebook Post,HTC posted “You can now download Android 4.0 on your HTC Sensation XL! Get your hands on the Ice Cream Sandwich and tell us the taste 
Updates for more devices to follow soon! In-case you haven’t received the updates, please manually check for them on your device.“.
