Sky Go TV Application For Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Soon To Arrive

The Sky Go Application that converts the mobile, tablets and even PC into a mini television is soon to be available for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Sky Go application is already available for some older Android operating system such as Android Gingerbread but the application was found to be incompatible with the latest Android version. An update had been rolled out by the Sky Go that was supposed to support Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but it was reported by many users that it was not working. Therefore the company had to go ahead and do some bug fixes and add up the compatibility to Android Ice Cream Sandwich, as a result of which the application will soon be available for Ice Cream Sandwich platform. But the final dates of release of the latest Android compatible version have not been rolled out yet.

 

The Sky Go television application is available on some of the handsets that run on Android 2.3.x Gingerbread. Some of these handsets are-

  • Samsung Galaxy S
  • Samsung GalaxyS II
  • HTC Desire S, HTC Desire
  • HTC Desire HD
  • HTC Sensation
  • HTC Sensation XE
  • HTC Incredible

 

Apart from these many new devices will be able to run the application as the application will soon be available for Ice Cream Sandwich. Samsung Galaxy S III may also soon have Sky Go. For those who are still wondering about the application, Sky Go is an app that receives signal from Sky TV and enables television forecasting on the device. Various channels that can be viewed using Sky Go include ESPN, Sky 1, Sky Living, Sky News and various other movie channel, adding up to a total of 40 channels that are available on Sky Go.
