Bad news for 2011 Xperia Users from Sony’s Official,Sony has Confirmed that the Company’s Last Year Flagship Model- Xperia arc S won’t get the jellybean update.John Cooper, UK Product Manager for Sony Mobile, has been taking questions from customers on Sony ‘s UK Facebook page,while Solving the Users Query,he has Confirmed that Xperia Arc S Users will not be able to upgrade their Smartphone to Android 4.1 Jellybean.
Moreover, Cooper has also stated that Xperia mini pro won’t be receiving the Most anticipated Android 4.1 update either.The Xperia Arc S was Company’s flagship model,Given the fact that these are among the strongest 2011 Xperia phones,so if these handset isn’t getting it,we can simply Assume that if the flagship doesn’t get it, inferior models won’t get the update too,which concludes that none of the other Xperia handsets from the 2011 range will get the update.
Sony’s Xperia 2011 Smartphones was the First Series which got Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS,but Unfortunately Xperia 2011 users have to stick with ICS only .
