Sony has announced that Next iteration from its Xperia NXT Series- Sony Xperia P will get the Android 4.0 update,The long -awaited update will be available in late august.The Japenese company published The ICS update News on its official Facebook India Page which confirms that Indian User will be the First one to receive the Most Popular Mobile OS.
According to the company, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for Sony Xperia P is expected to arrive on August 19: “You’re going to love this! ICS Upgrade for Xperia P will be here between 19th and 25th August 2012.”.
Sony has already rolled out ICS to several of its 2011 Xperia devices Such as Xperia Mini,Xperia Mini Pro and the Xperia S,So the Xperia P is next in line for the update,Followed by the Xperia U sometime in the third quarter of the year, although a specific release date has not been unveiled so far.
