A rumored front panel has leaked that supposedly belongs to the iPhone 5. We have already seen some leaked parts so far, and now we have another one. The photo below is apparently for the front panel of the new iPhone 5, and it was discovered on Chinese Apple blog, Apple.pro.
As you can see from the pic, the photo shows a larger display than the existing iPhone, with an apparent 16:9 ratio. The front-facing camera, used for FaceTime calls, has shifted to the centre of the phone; the proximity sensor seems to have stuck to its existing location to the left of the earpiece.
Other than that, there doesn’t appear to be any other major changes to the front panel for the iPhone 5. Many were hoping to see an edge-to-edge display for the new iPhone 5, but we have a feeling that many consumers will still be happy with the new and improved taller display.
We heard that Apple may hold a special event on the 7th of August where they are expected to announce the new iPhone 5, this has not yet been confirmed by Apple.
